Easter Events and Things To Do in Derbyshire

It’s almost Easter already, so we thought we’d spend the time to let you know what is going on in the local Derbyshire area and within easy reach of our Banks Close Development in Bullbrige, Belper. Here is a selection of our favourite events:

LEGO Building Fun at Derby Museums

29 March to 14th April 2024

If you want to do something appealing for all of the family, head to Derby Museums to join in their LEGO building sessions. Create your own LEGO brick from pewter and try your hand at other artisitic events in the museum.

Easter Adventures at Conkers

29 March to 14th April 2024

Head to Ashby-de-la-Zouch and visit Conkers for a range of exciting activities for all of the family. Watch the shows in the amphitheatre or 4D cinema or join in on the Easter Egg hunt to find the golden egg.

Heights of Abraham Easter Fun

30th March to 1st April 2024

Head high to the top of the hills overlooking Matlock Bath with views of the countryside and Riber castle. While there, celebrate the fact that Queen Victoria visited when she was a princess. Attend in fancy dress and receive a special gift.

Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Matlock Farm Park

29th March to 14th April 2024

Head to Matlock Farm and you could catch the birth of fluffy chicks, ducklings and lambs, take care of the lambs with feeding sessions and care. There will be treasure hunts and find the golden egg.

Head to Cromford Canal to cruise the Birdswood Narrow Boat owned by the Friends of Cromford Canal. Book early to guarantee your space on board, as numbers fill up very quick. Afterwards enjoy a walk down the canal and explore the wildlife.
